Reads the target of the symlink a /proc/<pid>/fd/N link leads to, by reopening it O_PATH here, which lands on that inode whether or not its name still exists.

§Arguments

  • proc_link - The /proc link.

§Errors

The errno of the reopen, or ENOENT where the inode is no symlink, as the kernel answers an empty path on such a descriptor.
