inotify_add_watch.
The watch must be added to the tracee’s own inotify descriptor, which the
supervisor cannot reach without pidfd_getfd. Paths that translate to
themselves are passed through; translated paths fail with ENOENT so
watchers fall back to polling. Moving this to the ptrace tier would fix it.
