Pin

Struct Pin

Source
pub struct Pin {
    host: Vec<u8>,
    fd: OnceLock<Arc<OwnedFd>>,
}
Expand description

The host side of the root or of a binding, held open once.

Every walk starts from one of these descriptors rather than from the textual host prefix, so a rename of the prefix’s parents on the host (the rootfs under a bound $HOME, say) cannot redirect it. A host that does not exist yet is opened on the first lookup that finds it there.

Fields§

§host: Vec<u8>§fd: OnceLock<Arc<OwnedFd>>

Implementations§

Source§

impl Pin

Source

fn new(host: Vec<u8>) -> Pin

Source

pub fn get(&self) -> Option<Arc<OwnedFd>>

The descriptor, opening the host side on first use; None while it does not exist (a symlink is never a host side: resolve_host ran).
