Variants

Path

A NUL-terminated string, copied into a PATH_AREA.

In

A buffer the call reads, copied in. Longer than max bytes, the call fails with too_big without being made, as the kernel would fail it.

The most staged.

The errno of a longer buffer.

A buffer the call writes, copied back once it returns.
