Rewrites a path string in the tracee to a transient alias, continues the syscall, and puts the string back once the syscall has consumed it.

§Arguments

  • r - The notification.
  • addr - Address of the string in the tracee.
  • orig - The bytes at addr that may be overwritten (the string and its NUL).
  • host - Host path the alias stands for.
  • form - Alias form.

§Returns

Outcome::Replied: the notification was answered here.

§Errors

ENAMETOOLONG when no alias fits, or the errno of creating it.
